2025-2026 Season Information
Attendance:
  • A member must participate in 5 events for the 2025-26 season.
Cancellations:
  • If you need to cancel, please notify your club representative who will contact the Tournament Chair, Carrie Rosenthal.
  • Cancellations prior to 72 hours will result in no fees or penalties.
  • A player WILL BE charged for the event if cancelled within 72 hours, no exceptions.
  • If cancellation is within 24 hours of the event, you must notify the Pro Shop directly as well as your representative and Carrie.
Procedures:
  • Players should be in their golf carts 15 minutes prior to the shotgun start.
  • All events are stroke play in flights. Players must hole out.
  • Scoring
    • The paper scorecard is the official record for play and must be signed and attested. Paper scorecards should be exchanged.
    • In addition, all scoring will be in Golf Genius. The host club will have Golf Genius set up and each scorecard will note the GGID. One person in each foursome will enter all scores in Golf Genius.
    • While it is good practice to have one player in the foursome enter the scores in Golf Genius, it is recommended that all players keep a watchful eye on scores entered so reconciling scores after 9 holes and at the end of round goes smoothly.
    • After your group has finished and replaced the flagstick on your last hole, record the time on the top of each scorecard.
    • Discuss any rule issues with the Rules Committee at the end of play. Adjust GG scoring if necessary before submitting the scorecard to the Tournament Chair.
    • The GG scorekeeper from each group will bring the scorecards to the Tournament Chair who will make a final review to confirm the scorecard and Golf Genius results agree.
    • Once reviewed, mobile scoring will be disabled for the pairing group. When this process is completed for all players by the Tournament Chair, the event will be official.
    • Scoring will be done off-site, and results will be sent to the players and each club representative.
    • All scores will be posted to GHIN - do not post your own score!
    • Points will be awarded to gross and net winners within each flight (2 gross; 5 net), including ties.
  • Pace of Play
    • Be mindful of your pace of play
    • Play "ready golf” and stay with the group in front.
    • If out of position, split into twosomes until such time as you have closed the gap.
    • For example, when arriving at the tee, a group is out of position on a par 4 or 5 hole if the group ahead has left the green. Your group is therefore out of position. Split into twosomes at the putting green. Once caught up and back in position, you can play as a group of four.
  • Withdrawal During a Tournament
    • If you find that you are having a challenging day on the course, you are welcome to withdraw from the competition and continue playing with your group. Any incomplete hole(s) should be entered with an X.
    • Notify the Tournament Chair of the situation. This is an NC. If you stop playing during the round, this will be noted as WD. All incomplete hole(s) should be left "blank".
    • In either situation, you will not be eligible for any points that day, but you will receive credit for attendance.
    Other
    • All players are expected to be appropriately attired and display good sportsmanship and behavior.
    • Clubs will do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions, but special meals will not be provided. Limited options should be available. The player should contact the host course rep for information regarding the planned menu.
    • In the case of inclement weather during an event, the executive committee will determine if the event will be scored based on the status of the majority of players. All players will receive credit for attendance.
