The Women’s Mid-Gulf Golf Association has adopted a Code of Conduct which applies to all members of the association. A player may be removed from any competition at the discretion of the Mid-Gulf Rules Committee and the President at any time before or during the competition. Incidents of unbecoming conduct believed to be detrimental to the "Spirit of the Game" are grounds for such removal and suspension from future Mid-Gulf tournaments. These include, but are not limited to the following:
- Willful damage of the golf course or golf course policy
- Offensive or unbecoming language
- Potential endangerment and/or distraction of others
- Public criticism of golf course, or verbal abuse of Mid-Gulf members, the host club staff or their employees
- Failure to abide by the host club’s rules

- Adhere to the host club’s dress code and local rules
- Demonstrate fair play both on and off the course
- Follow established golf etiquette and respect the course by repairing pitch marks, replacing divots, raking bunkers, etc.
- Respect fellow golfers. Do not shout, misuse equipment (i.e. throwing clubs in frustration etc.) or exhibit aggressive behavior.
- Turn off mobile phones on the golf course. The use of the Golf Genius app for scoring an event is allowed.

- Warning
- One Stroke Penalty
- General Penalty - two stroke penalty in stroke play
